One of my running friends gave me this recipe and it is great for fueling a run!  I have no idea what the nutrition facts are, but when you are running 16+ miles at a time, it really doesn’t matter!

2 cups of oats

1/2 cup brown sugar

1/2 cup wheat germ

3/4 tsp cinnamon

1 cup flour

1 cup raisins/craisins/chocolate chips (any combination or all 3)

1/2 cup honey

1 egg

1 cup applesauce

2 tsp vanilla

Preheat oven to 350.

Combine all ingredients.  Pour into 8×8 dish and bake for 18-22 minutes.  Adjust the amount of applesauce if you like them a little more moist.
