1 can white beans, rinsed and drained

1/3 cup coarsely chopped basil

3 Tbsp fresh lemon juice

1 Tbsp + 1 tsp olive oil

1 garlic clove

1/2 tsp salt

In a blender or food processor, puree all ingredients.  Let stand at room temperature, covered, until flavors are blended, 2-3 hours.

This tastes a lot like humus.  I used Navy beans and added an extra garlic clove.  Very tasty!
