1/4 cup brown sugar

6 tsp lemon juice

4 Bartlett pears, peeled, quartered, and cored


In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the sugar and lemon juice, stirring frequently, until sugar is dissolved.  Add the pear wedges; cover and cook over medium-low heat until tender, 15-20 minutes.  Sprinkle with cinnamon; serve.

Yields 4 servings for 2 points each.
