6 slices turkey bacon, diced

1 large onion, chopped

two 15 1/2 oz cans pinto beans, rinsed and drained

1 cup beer

1/2 cup zesty BBQ sauce

1/8 tsp cayenne pepper

In a medium saucepan, combine the bacon and onion.  Cook, stirring until the onion and bacon is browned, about 15 minutes.

Stir in the beans, beer, bbq sauce, and cayenne; bring to a boil.  Reduce heat and simmer, covered, until flavor are blended, about 15 minutes.  Uncover and increase heat to medium; cook until most of the liquid is absorbed and sauce thickens, about 5 minutes longer.

Makes 8 servings and 2 WW points each.
